Facebook is testing a new website design that supports Dark Mode

Facebook has started sending invitations to test the new design of its site, which was revealed at the developers conference last May, which is inspired by some elements of Twitter and most importantly supports the night mode.

The new design consists of three columns, the left (in the English interface) featuring icons of the main site sections and favorite shortcuts, the middle featuring publications and main content, the right and displays birthdays and contacts with a floating icon.

At the top of the middle column there are icons similar to what is in the Android app like access to videos, store, collections and games. In general the new design takes elements from Twitter design as well as mobile app.

Perhaps the most important feature is to support the night-time situation in which Facebook is long overdue both on its application or its location compared to Twitter. Fortunately, there is a way to go back to day mode with a white page color for those who don't like night mode.

There is no information on when the new design will be available to all users and will naturally be applied gradually.
