Despite the fierce competition between Google and Microsoft in the field of cloud storage, Dropbox remained one of the best services in this area for many reasons.
Recently, the service-specific application has been fixed from the desktop to become the center of all a person's work.
Dropbox now offers a new feature to people who collaborate on a project called Spaces to help them get it done quickly.
With this new feature, Dropbox will now allow any folder to be converted to “space” by adding a description.
Once you do this, you can install files and folders and create lists or tasks, and that's on top of all the features already available in regular Dropbox folders, such as adding comments to files, importing web links, and viewing file history.
Currently, the service app on Android only provides rudimentary support for Spaces, so descriptions cannot be edited, tasks cannot be added but can be completed.
Regardless of this feature, there are also a host of new additions, topped by an almost clever image search feature like the ones on Google Images.
There is also a file preview feature, and the ability to add Dropbox Paper documents to any of the folders.
Finally, the company says that document search will soon be visible to all users.
