The company currently has independent glasses, mirage Solo and does not need to connect to a smartphone or pc because it has a separate processor inside it, but those glasses were based on the Daydream platform stopped by Google.
Of course, the new glasses will work on a new platform we don't know what they are yet as there are several companies that can provide the right environment like Facebook, Microsoft or even Steam.
