Instagram allows you to control app access for your account

Like Facebook, you can now control all external applications that allow it to access your Instagram account data.

The new feature can be accessed by going to Settings - Security - Applications and Sites and there is a list of all external applications and sites that you have given access to your account to stop any one you want.

In addition, now when a site or application requests access permissions for your account, a pop-up message will appear asking you to approve and allow or deny it.

Instagram says these new privacy control options will gradually reach all users and may take up to six months to reach everyone.

Instagram was supposed to provide such a long-standing advantage, which is essential in social networks, especially after scandals like Cambridge Analytica.

On the other hand, Instagram imposed restrictions on developers in the interface where it reduced the query capabilities to be a maximum of 200 user queries per hour compared to 5000 queries previously, and it is also requiring users to go to the new interface Instagram Basic Display API.
