Windows 10 Reaches 900 Million Devices

Windows 10 over the past 12 months has reached more devices than ever before, this rapid growth has increased the number of devices running Windows 10 to 900 million.

Microsoft's operating system is expected to reach 1 billion devices by the end of the first quarter of next year.

The latest official figure announced by Microsoft is 800 million devices in March, which was able to add 100 million new devices within six months.

As always, the devices in this number are not only personal computers and laptops, but also include Xbox, Hololens glasses and even the desktop screen.

Given the growth of Windows 10, last year was showing slow growth rates from time to time, especially compared to Windows 7, which was harvesting 20 million new users on average monthly.

Now that the security support for Windows 7 is over, more companies are turning to Windows 10, which may have helped the relatively good growth lately.
