Since Google acquired Waze navigation, the company has added some of the key features of this service to the Maps app from Android.
For example, a road accident reporting and traffic slowdown feature has been added.
In this regard, Google says that users of maps on the other system “iOS” will soon be able to report road accidents as well.
The iPhone campaign will also be able to report crashes and slow traffic, by clicking a new button below the compass in the user interface to navigate while driving, as shown below.
IOS users are not the only ones with new reporting options, as the company has also indicated that users on both systems will be able to report construction, shut down lanes, broken down vehicles and more.
Finally, the importance of Waze is to give it an accurate picture of everything happening on the road around you so you can get a better idea of the current road conditions.
As Google adds the most important features of Waze from its Maps app, the service becomes a treasure trove of useful information for drivers.
