Twitter launches Hide Replies feature in Japan and USA

After months of experiments in Canada, Twitter announced the launch of the official Hide Responses feature in the United States and Japan.

The idea is simply that the primary tweeter can hide some of the replies that he thinks are inappropriate so that they don't appear in the replies to other users who can also see all replies after clicking the Show hidden tweebutton.

Twitter confirmed that the aim of the launch of this feature is to urge users to think carefully before writing responses and away from abuse and unethical responses and bullying and other negative posts.

Twitter believes that the Hide Reply feature is a good solution compared to the deletion of posts on Instagram and Facebook.Hiding a reply will force the bad reply to share well next time before using other options such as blocking and reports that need time to be interacted with.

On the other hand many believe that this feature will kill the advantage of the exchange of views found in Twitter where will be suppressed dissenting views of the owner of Twitter and this kills the fun of Twitter and makes the subject of discussion is poor and not integrated.
