Samsung Unveils ISOCELL Slim GH1 Sensor with the Smallest Pixel Area in the World

Samsung has unveiled a new camera sensor ISOCELL Slim GH1, which represents a major advancement in the field of sensors that the pixel area does not exceed 0.7 مترm when taking pictures, which means that there are more pixels within a lower area, and thus can reach a resolution and a much higher resolution the previous.

Samsung's new sensor comes with 43.7 megapixels and 0.7 pixels per pixel thanks to the company's ISOELL Plus technology.

These sensors are aimed at smartphones, as the company says it is the ideal solution for full-screen devices for its high clarity.

The company has developed 48-megapixel sensors previously and followed by 48-megapixel sensors , which is one of the best camera sensors in the market, which made most Chinese companies to adopt in its flagship or medium phones with distinctive cameras.

The ISOCELL Slim GH1 offers a resolution of 7,968 x 5,480 pixels and can shoot 4K video at a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels.

In low-light situations, this sensor can deliver clear images equivalent to a sensor with 1.4 micro pixels in natural light mode, thanks to Tetracell technology used to improve light capture.

Maybe it's still far from the professional camera, but Samsung seems to be moving steadily to develop the best camera phones.

It is noteworthy that the Korean company will start manufacturing the sensor for companies at the end of this year, which means the arrival with smart phones in early 2019.
