Microsoft gets permission from US government to work with Huawei

The US government has granted Microsoft permission to provide Huawei with its operating systems despite a long-standing ban on the Chinese company

Everyone knows that the US government imposed a ban on Huawei on the pretext of threatening the US national security, so it prevented companies from working with them, whether importing their products or exporting other products to them. But the US government gave companies some time by giving Huawei three months to the third time a few days ago to work temporarily with some companies.

Now, the United States has allowed Microsoft to provide its Huawei counterpart with its own systems, particularly the Windows operating system.

Microsoft owns many of Huawei's technology and patents, including the Windows operating system.

The US government has received applications from about 300 companies willing to work with Huawei, including Microsoft, which has obtained permission, where so far the processing of about half of the applications submitted, so it is possible to approve the requests of other companies such as Google to support Huawei devices with the latest versions Android and applications associated with the system.


It is noteworthy that this license allows Microsoft and the companies to sell its products and systems to Huawei, and does not allow it to import the products of the Chinese company.
