It's not new to block some users from online games or services, and accounts are often blocked for violations of our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or direct fraud. Here, a group of Pokémon Go players believe they have been banned for an unexpected reason, using phones from Xiaomi.
Many have complained about the ban, which is mainly aimed at the Xiaomi device campaign who made no mistake while playing.
In this context, many players expect that the anti-fraud measures included in the game Pokémon Go miss the definition of a unique application or system for these phones.
The blocking issue seems to only affect certain devices such as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, but this has not yet been confirmed.
Finally, users have reported a 30-day block or permanently close account depending on the message they received.
Up to this point, Niantic, the developer of Pokémon Go, has not yet responded to users' calls or issued a statement explaining the reasons for the ban from the game and whether it is because of their use of Xiaomi phones or for a different reason for the players themselves.
